Eyelash extension's Pre-care

                        ✧ Pre-Care & Aftercare Guide ✧

Eyelash Extensions

Beautiful results begin with proper preparation and care.
Please read the guidance below carefully to ensure the longevity and health of your lashes.

— Before Your Appointment —

✧ Please Do Not Book If You Have:

• An active eye infection (e.g. conjunctivitis or styes)
• Glaucoma or blepharitis
• Undergone eye surgery within the last 6 months
• Unhealed scarring around the eye area
• A current cold or sinus infection causing watery eyes

If you wear contact lenses, please remove them before your appointment.

✧ Preparing for Your Appointment

• Arrive with completely clean lashes (no mascara or liner)
• Avoid oil-based products around the eye area for 24 hours prior
• Do not curl or tint your lashes beforehand
• Wear comfortable clothing (you’ll be lying down)
• Please arrive on time to ensure your full treatment can be completed. If you arrive a bit early, then give me a text and I will let you know if I am ready for you.

— During Your Appointment —

You will be comfortably reclined with your eyes closed throughout.

Each extension is applied individually to a single natural lash using professional-grade adhesive.

Full Set: approximately 90–120 minutes
Infills: approximately 45–60 minutes

The treatment is relaxing and painless.

— Aftercare Instructions —

Your aftercare routine is essential to maintain fullness and longevity.

✧ The First 24 Hours

• Avoid water, steam, saunas, and heavy sweating
• Do not apply oils or oil-based skincare near the eyes
• Avoid touching or rubbing the lash area

This allows the adhesive to fully cure.

✧ Ongoing Care

• Clean lashes gently with an oil-free cleanser
• Brush daily with a clean spoolie
• Avoid waterproof mascara
• Do not use eyelash curlers
• Avoid pulling, picking, or excessive rubbing

Gentle care protects both your extensions and your natural lashes.

— Sleeping & Lifestyle —

• Avoid sleeping face-down - sleeping this way will greatly reduce the longevity of the lashes.
• A silk pillowcase is recommended
• Avoid heavy eye masks pressing on the lashes

Small adjustments can significantly improve retention.

— Maintenance —

Natural lashes shed daily as part of their growth cycle.

To maintain a full, polished look, infills are recommended every 2–3 weeks.

— Removal —

Extensions should always be professionally removed.

The process is safe, painless, and takes approximately 20–30 minutes.
Please never attempt removal yourself.

✧ A Final Note ✧

Following these instructions will ensure:

• Longer-lasting extensions
• Healthier natural lashes
• Consistently beautiful results

If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
